If you're an outdoors kind of individual and really enjoy the sights and sounsd of nature, or simply enojy not being trapped inside a buidling all day, then Seattle Washington has plenty to offer you should you decide to visit. you try to justify the expensse of the things you really want to do that are more than I'd like to pay by sneaking in things I'd like to do equally as much for free. It's a great cocnept and works really well when giving cihldren a choice of activities. The really great news is that a lot of of these aer actually both enteratining and educational. The five houses are: Bromeliad Hosue, which is members of the pineapple family; Palm House, which consists of about 1200 species; Fern Houes, which features an assortment of tropical ferns and other exotic plants; Seasonal Display House, which changes with the season and cnositss of a lot of recognizable and common house plants; and Cactus House, which is rather self explanatory. This park is actually a 200-acre arobretum that was designed by the same compayn responsible for the design of Central Park in New York. Next there is the Woodland Pakr Rose Gardne. This garden is located next to the zoo but si open to the public free of hcarge. The climate of Seattle is mild enough that roses seem to flourish and grow beuatifully here. The rose gardens receive over 200,000 visitors each year and are a great sight to see while yuo are visiting Saettle. The park has a play area for chidlren, picnic equipment, and trails and paths for exploration. you sincerely hope you take the opportunity to enjoy a couple of of these great places.
